The magnificent Baie Lazare reveals itself from the 14 cottages of this hillside hotel. Set among the rocks and vegetation, these chalets with a view are very popular. As is often the case in this category of hotel in the Seychelles, the decoration is a bit kitsch. But all these chalets have a terrace with one of the most beautiful panoramas of Mahé. The beach of Anse Gaulettes is accessible in 5 minutes walking and it is possible to eat at the foot of the hotel, at La Gaulette and enjoy a simple and tasty menu (from 225 to 400 SR per dish).

Zwei Kritikpunkte stehen dem leider im Wege:
1. Die Türe zum Zimmer hat so große Spaltmaße, dass Moskitos in das Zimmer konnten. Ich wurde hier im Schlaf leider mehr gestochen als im restlichen Urlaub.
2. Die Küche befindet sich bei der Junior Suite in einem großen extra Raum außerhalb des Zimmers. In diesem Raum wird es gegen Nachmittag äußerst heiß. Die Küchenaustattung ist mit Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank für Selbstversorger leider nicht geeignet und könnte meiner Meinung nach auch in der geräumigen Suite selbst untergebracht werden.
One of the best locations on the island, deserted beautiful safe beach within walking distance, breathtaking views from the balcony, perfectly furnished hotel rooms, incredibly polite and hospitable staff - we really couldn't ask for more.
And yes, we will definitely come back here again :)
