THE MISSION
A place full of atmosphere located on the heights of Sans-Souci, with an atmosphere that is both romantic and disturbing.
On the heights of Sans-Souci, there's a place full of atmosphere. Slightly set back from the road, and beyond a few sections of wall, the only remains of a Catholic mission, a superb avenue of imposing sandragons (from 1870), with mossy trunks and spectacular roots, leads to a belvedere inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II in 1972. From this viewing-lodge, a veritable balcony overlooking the west coast, the view is grandiose. The site's romantic yet eerie ambience is reminiscent of fantasy film sets such as The Wizard of Oz.

Au bout du chemin une superbe vue panoramique sur la mer agrémenté du passage de merles Bulbul qui viennent réclamer quelques miettes de pain ou de gâteau ...
