A pre-arrival form is required for all bookings your party and your agent choose to ignore. When you made the bookings on Booking.com and Expedia, you stated that all your visitors are adults. We have indicated the hotel policy that we are not accepting children below 12 years old. However, you and your agent ignore our requests to send the guests' passports. You were also given the option to book one room at our adjacent hotel, but you refused the option provided by the hotel.
Regards,
Reservations Team
Our booking policy clearly states that we do not accept children below 12 years old. This is due to security reasons as the hotel's design and architectural features don't allow it. For guests to access the room, you have to cross a pond on the stepping stones without any security. Our balconies and swimming pool are not appropriate for a child under 12 years. If we had accepted that booking and something happened to the underage little girl, your client would have been the first to sue the company for taking the underage child.
The Expedia booking and Booking.com indicated six adults. Then your agent said the child was 12 years old when he took over the booking. We required pre-arrival documents after booking confirmation, but you and your agent refused to provide them. Then you show up at the hotel with an 11 yr old child. We provided an option to move one room to the adjacent hotel, but you refused the option. Suppose only you and your agent had provided us with the correct information and pre-arrival documents rather than ignoring the emails. In that case, we could have prevented the inconvenience both on our end.
Best regards,
Reservations Team
