LAKE VICTORIA SAFARI VILLAGE

The light house that looks strangely like one of these little white houses that could be found in the Cyclades in Greece, composed of one single bedroom on two floors, with a superb view of the bay of Mbita, decorated with blue colors, has a crazy charm. The other 14 rooms, in hard bandas, are also decorated in blue tones… The day of our visit, the manager of the places was herself dressed in blue! It's clean and impeccably kept. The hotel also offers 7 tents with double bed and en-suite bathroom, but at the same rate it is less hot in the bandas! Camping option (provided you have a tent) for 1,000 Ksh per night per person. The small beach of the hotel, bordered by coconut trees and clear waters, is ideal for a relaxing stay. Quiet, at least on weekdays. A nice place for lunch break (count 500 Ksh meal). A small bar, set a little apart in a straw, makes the atmosphere in the evening.
