14 km from the entrance of the site of Petra, overlooked by massive rock and orange, is this beautiful traditional Bedouin camp: 15 Bedouin tents (2 people max) and 12 luxury tents (4 people max) are offered to travellers. The quality of the delivery justifies the price, the tents are superb, the warm welcome and the meals served (Zarb, Shraak, etc.) delicious. The Rock Camp hosts tour tours as well as horseback riding in the desert. Café coffee and henna makeup upon request. One might regret the relative remoteness of the camp, but the calm of the desert balaie any sense of solitude.
