Here's an address that's well worth a visit, south of Lake Enriquillo in the small town of Duvergé, an hour from La Descubierta and 25 minutes from Neiba. The setting is comfortable and tranquil, and the staff are very attentive. The traditional "mofongo" dish is served with shrimps. Goat's meat is delicious cooked Creole-style: "chivo picante", the house specialty, is well accompanied by a plate of fried plantains. The chef also sometimes prepares paella. Service is non-stop from breakfast to dinner.
