The only true luxury establishment in Perhentian is the Bubu Resort. On the beachfront, it has 18 villas, some of which have direct access to the beach with outdoor bathroom; others have their own private garden. All are spacious with contemporary furniture and lots of character. Massages are offered outside in an idyllic setting. The World Cafe is run by a charming couple of Neapolitans and you can feel it: the flavours are authentically Italian. Excellent address for a memorable stay.
