Craignure's premises smell of tradition, with their thick stone walls and wood panelling. The food is classic country fare, with pies, steaks, mussels, lamb and pork on the regularly changing menu. There are a few good beers and a pleasant terrace in fine weather. The establishment also offers B&B accommodation in three pleasant, good-value en-suite rooms. In high season, many tourists rub shoulders with locals waiting for their ferries.
