TYNWALD PARLIAMENT
In service for more than a thousand years, it is the oldest parliamentary assembly still in operation. It influences all areas of domestic policy on the island and consists of two branches: the House of Keys, lower room, and the Legislative Council, upper room. They meet each Tuesday from mid-October to mid-July, except for the third week of the month, at Easter and Christmas. It is possible to attend the sessions by consulting the calendar online. Guided tours (1 h 30) lead you into the arcane of this magnificent building, Manx architectural jewel and unique witness of the past.
