It is difficult to imagine a more idyllic scene: The River House is a small gem in the water, in the heart of a wooded site with views of the Sulby and the hills surrounding Snaefell. The hosts are charming and their house is a true Georgian palace, with three bedrooms and a suite. The joliesse of the old and the most British kitsch combine to make this place a true museum of decorative arts. Each corner is made up of trinkets, porcelain, collection plates, cookies and unique furniture. The comfort is also incomparable with, of course, large bathtubs and the Internet available. If you are looking for a high level of comfort, don't miss it.
