ETNALODGE

Located in Piedimonte Etneo, Sicily, Etnalodge is a tranquil bed and breakfast and vacation home set on the slopes of Mount Etna. It is set in a renovated ancient palmento, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings. The rooms, named Larice, Castagno and Terracotta, are decorated with antique Sicilian furniture and offer a view of the sea or countryside. In the morning, guests can enjoy breakfast al fresco while admiring the sea view. In the evening, they can relax with an aperitif on the solarium terrace with its breathtaking views of Mount Etna. The Etnalodge can accommodate up to 7 people, and also has a travel cot for small children. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor dining area and terrace. The establishment is ideally located for mountain hikers, with the departure point of the Etna wine train nearby. The region's main attractions, such as the craters of Etna Sud, the Alcantara Gorge and the Nebrodi Mountains, are within easy reach by car. For beach lovers, Marina di Cottone in Fiumefreddo offers a peaceful, uncrowded pebble beach, while Giardini Naxos offers a sandy beach just a few kilometers away. Taormina and Catania are also within easy reach by car. Etnalodge is run by Kate and Davide, an English/Sicilian couple, who live on site with their pets. Kate speaks English, Italian and a little Sicilian, while Davide speaks Sicilian, Italian and English.
