The Adega Mayor winery is a beautiful place to immerse yourself in the world of wine.

Rui Nabeiro, CEO of Delta Cafés, had always wanted to own a vineyard. In 2007, he created Adega Mayor, whose futuristic headquarters were designed by architect Siza Veira. Its panoramic terrace offers breathtaking views over the estate's vineyards, olive groves, Spain and the Serra de Portalegre. The winery can be visited on a guided tour, with or without tasting, or in conjunction with the nearby Museu de ciencia e café. It's a great place to immerse yourself in a world steeped in ancient tradition.
