FOND LATISAB CREOLE PARK
The drive is about 30 minutes from Castries, straight up in the hills of Babonneau, where luxuriant vegetation and fabulous landscapes awaits you. Experience local traditions at Fond Latisab where at first sight, they welcome you warmly and make a demonstration on how to make cassava bread "an tan lontan" cooking on banana leaves. The tour continues along with the visit of the farm where they grow nutmeg, cinnamon, bananas, cocoa. They will show you the-back-in-the-days wood sawing entertained by the rythm of the "chak chak" and the drums. At the end, you participate in the creole folk dance with the tour guides. Before leaving, the team gives complimentary cassava bread and local juice.
