Another ruined temple built under Yasovarman I. Located just next to the south gate of Angkor Thom, nothing prevents you from stopping there for five minutes to get away from the tourists gathered near the gate. This east-facing sanctuary was to be part of a much larger set of towers surrounding Phnom Bakheng. An object of five gold leaves arranged in staggered rows was found under the terrace, with in its centre an image of Nandi, the sacred bull of Hinduism and Shiva's vehicle.
