Archaeological site discovered in Chi Pat in 1984, the only site in the Cardamoms where whole wooden tombs were found
This archaeological site was discovered in 1984 by a villager, research is still being carried out to define the meaning and the origin of the vestiges brought to light. Numerous jars were found and it is certainly the only site of the Cardamomes where one discovered whole wooden tombs. It would seem according to the first results that they would date from the 16th century. The site is difficult of access, inform you in the village to organize you, and count several hours of track in very bad state to get there.
