This museum (Μουσείο Ιστορίας Και Τέχνης/Mousio Istorias kai Technis) is housed in a red 1931 building. It is mainly devoted to the three sieges of Missolonghi (1821-1826): weapons of the insurgents, manuscripts by Lord Byron, original paintings and copies of Greece on the Ruins of Missolonghi (1826) by Delacroix (original in Bordeaux) and Lord Byron's Arrival at Missolonghi (1861) by Vryzakis (original in the National Gallery, Athens).
