This Russian Orthodox monastery overlooking the Church of the Visitation was built in 1871. It comprises two churches dating from 1873 (Our Lady of Kazan) and 1987 (St. John the Baptist), and a cathedral. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is easily recognized by its gold domes and crosses, visible from afar. The complex includes living quarters for the nuns, a hostel for pilgrims and a cemetery. Access is via Hadassah Hospital.
