MOUNT USHER GARDENS
Charming garden of exotic plants and flowers with a long, long canal and suspension bridges, a pleasant place to visit
Mount Usher Gardens is a charming garden of exotic plants and flowers which, thanks to the mild climate of the valley, do not need to be grown in greenhouses. On site, there is a long, long canal, marbled with water lilies and crossed by small suspension bridges, flowing among trees, bushes, groves and flowers of all kinds, from Europe of course, but also from Japan, China and Mexico. This garden was created in the 19th century by Edward Walpole, a Dublin businessman, who liked to walk in the area.
