Restaurant serving regional specialty cuisine and Austrian dishes
This restaurant nestled in a riding school in the Perche is a great idea! Ulrike and Florence have set up their passions there: wine, horses and good food combining regional specialities based on fresh products and Austrian dishes (Ulrike is from Austria). Their work is rewarded by the Maître Restaurateur label obtained in 2013. On the menu of this good restaurant, for example, a coustillade lamb confit with vegetables, roasted scallops in citrus sauce as main courses or duck foie gras as a starter or a vanilla/orange as a dessert. Ulrike, a professional oenologist, left his native country to settle in Lyon, before settling permanently in the region. Here, the cuisine is made only from local and mainly organic products: a card showing the names of the suppliers and their addresses, just like a wine list that is respected. In short, it's good and worth a few kilometers. As a bonus, the chimney ensures beautiful fire in autumn and winter! The smartest little extra: Le Bistrot des écuries is also a guest house.
