This is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in the Aigle region. The Auberge Saint-Michel, housed in a vast, tastefully restored farmhouse, offers three menus with inventive, masterfully-cooked proposals. The Normandy menu, for example, is an ode to flavors: pear marries with hazelnut and roast pork with walnut. Frédéric and Christopher make a point of renewing their offer regularly, and if the dishes are worth a detour, it's just as much for the cosy decor. Don't miss the splendid terrace in summer.
