THERMENMUSEUM
Museum presenting archaeological discoveries, and offering a varied program of cultural and educational activities
And why not take advantage of your trip to the South of France to play the role of Indiana Jones and go on an archaeological treasure hunt? Just before the Second World War, these Roman baths dating from between 63 and 73 were discovered. The site was protected and preserved, enabling the museum to be opened in 1977. In addition to the Roman baths (the oldest in the Netherlands!), temporary exhibitions are on offer, enabling young and old alike to learn a great deal about Roman culture and the importance of water (among other things).
