PALAMBALA
Address featuring large carbets and wooden bungalows with elevated terraces.
Thibault and his wife have reserved a large carbet for you (sleeping in a hammock). Two wooden bungalows have recently been built in keeping with traditional local features. Pleasantly furnished, each has a small terrace high above the ground, offering a magnificent view of the forest. Toilets and showers are outside, however. Insect enthusiasts will be delighted by the entomology museum: a collection of 1,600 insects and butterflies from French Guiana (morphos, longicorns...) can be viewed on site.
