MAF
Wewak Town, in Papua New Guinea, is a town where the presence of the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is essential. With dense jungle, high mountains and difficult roads, MAF plays a crucial role in transporting medical personnel, teachers, missionaries and Bible translators to the region's isolated populations. It also transports building materials and local produce to support the development of remote villages. MAF's emergency flights save lives by rapidly transporting the sick and injured to hospitals. In addition to its flying activities, MAF France is also involved in projects for species preservation, training for women's ministries and the prevention of gender-based violence through sport. MAF France is a member of the ASAH collective and Connect Missions.
