MOUNT HAGEN SHOW

The most famous shows in Papua are also the most intense and probably the one that brings together the largest number of groups. For some years, however, the variety has decreased due to security problems on the Highway and in Hagen itself. The festival is still exciting. The artists come to prepare the early morning at the festival stage. Then, thanks to the entrance pass, you get to the reserved enclosure where the groups come sing and dance for several hours, in a flamboiement of colours, smells and sounds. A dream for the cameramen and photographers… The show usually ends around 15 p. m. But better to leave before the doors are open and the crowd starts to reach.
