FAIRVILLE INN
Ideally located in the heart of the valley between Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine River Museum, the rooms of this beautiful bed and breakfast are divided into three outbuildings: the main house (dating from 1837), the old stables (with grey walls and exposed beams) and the summer house (a little in retreat, where all have a balcony with a view of the meadow). The rooms are warm and tastefully decorated in a country style (-poster bed, white sofa bed, flowery curtains). A number of rooms can be booked entirely. The main house, at the roadside, can be noisy. prefer a room in the summer house (Springhouse), more quiet.
