KNIFE & FORK INN
The Knife and Fork Inn was created in 1912 by the then mayor and his friends as an exclusive club to men. They are there to drink and eat, while women are relegated to the upper floor by waiting. During Prohibition, club members defy the laws of a non-alcoholic society and continue to secretly serve alcohol at the bar. Since then, the restaurant has experienced several owners but retains, in its atmosphere a little secret, the history of the place. Of course, the floor is no longer reserved for women and you can dine on beautiful white tablecloths in an intimate atmosphere. Grilling is the specialty of the house. The wine list is respectable and the servers of good advice. No doubt one of the very good tables in the city.
