GRANDS-JARDINS NATIONAL PARK
It is one of the most beautiful national parks in Quebec, part of which is included in the Charlevoix Biosphere Reserve.
Once frequented by Montagnais hunters and, towards the end of the 19th century, by a few wealthy Ontarians and vacationing Americans, who enjoyed caribou hunting and brook trout fishing, Parc national des Grands-Jardins is a 318.9 km² territory located in the heart of the Charlevoix World Biosphere Reserve. Taiga and tundra landscapes, lichen-covered black spruce forests... The fauna is representative of northern regions: moose, bear, wolf, caribou and lynx. The summit of Mont du Lac-des-Cygnes rises to an altitude of 980 metres, and the panorama is unique.
There are two reception points: the Mont-du-Lac-des-Cygnes service center at km 21 and the Arthabaska discovery and service center at km 31 (then follow the signs). Check the website for seasonal opening times.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
The access to the car is not allowed inside the park (a system of bus leads different walks and camping) to avoid the pollution of the landscape and sound.
