National park with fish and fossil plants in cliffs that have allowed an exceptional conservation.

The Parc national de Miguasha (0.8 km²), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserves a fossiliferous site unique on the planet. The fossilized fish and plants on the cliffs bear witness to a marine environment dating back 378 million years. Their exceptional state of preservation attracts researchers from all over the world. The site can be discovered independently and ends with the Evolution of Life trail along the cliff (3.5 km loop).
