Desert Point, whose real name is Bangko Bangko Beach, is renowned for its difficult access and extreme isolation on the island. In the right season, it promises exceptional waves, for experienced surfers or those who just want to take in the sights. Recognized by Aussie Tracks Magazine as the best wave in the world, the waves at BBB can be very uneven, depending on the moon (be very careful at low tide!), but also on the time of year, when the dry season is preferred (generally from May to October).
