MUSEO CIVICO PIER ALESSANDRO GARDA
Recent municipal museum holding some beautiful pieces and paintings of masters.
Housed in the former 14th-century Santa Chiara monastery, the recently opened municipal museum is home to the archaeological remains of the Roman town of Eporedia, ancient Ivrea, dating from the 2nd and 1st centuries BC. A section is dedicated to Oriental art, with fine Japanese porcelain and a fine collection of lacquerware. A number of master paintings complete the collection. An interesting visit, which completes the discovery of the city.
