A cozy trattoria in the city center. Exposed brickwork lends a rustic tone, but at the same time a contemporary air pervades the decor - a sort of rustic trendiness, shall we say. Exquisite regional cuisine, with a menu that changes weekly according to the seasons and market arrivals, and everything is always very good. Homemade bread and pasta, well-stocked wine list. The staff are very pleasant, the dishes are hearty and without fuss, and the atmosphere is friendly... An excellent address!

E un ritrovo storico nella cucina e soprattutto nella disponibilità dei migliori vini che, localmente, potete trovare in Monferrato. Cibo spaziale, quantità spaziali, prezzo spaziale ma non credo sia un problema di chi frequenta questo posto. A inizio menù chiedono scusa per i 3 € di coperto e per l euro di acqua filtrata del rubinetto. Scuse secondo me più che accettabili.

Ero stata in questo locale di cui serbavo un buon ricordo ,qualche anno fa. Ricordo ottimo confermato dalla recente visita. Anzi : negli anni è nettamente migliorato. Cucina locale molto interessante e curata con abbinamenti particolari ; servizio ai tavoli e alla accettazione eccellenti ; locale bello ed accogliente.
Conto onesto e proporzionale alla cucina e al contesto.

Gennaio 2024, decidiamo di andare a fare una gita a Casale Monferrato e di pranzare lì. Torniamo al Cicin&Barlichin. Seconda esperienza super top! Plin ai tre arrosti e faraona ottimi, vitello tonnato pure! E per finire abbiamo provato la tarte tatin con gelato, super top!

Piatti interessanti e ben eseguiti della tradizione e non. Bella scelta di contorni anche abbondanti. Servizio preciso e ambiente stile industrial. Rapporto qualità /costo elevato. Una tappa obbligata in centro a Casale Monferrato.
