Since 1966 the La Torre restaurant is the reference table for Casale Monferrato. The restaurant has recently moved to the stylish rooms of the Candiani Hotel, slightly to the north-west of the city. Absolutely stunning restaurant with exquisite Italian food! The service was brilliant, there very tolerant of young children, excellent wine, great views, beautiful inside room (but we sat outside of course), and incredibly friendly staff! Inside is very swish as well, there's a beautiful baby grand piano! They're able to do food for babies/children and are good at preparing things very quickly if said child is unhappy! So child friendly. It's also a beautiful building, just an amazing experience.
We had a vegan in the party and they had just picked a crate of chanterelles from the nearby woods and the chef just made a dish up involving the mushrooms they'd just got. Amazing.
