A rustic but correct accommodation, just steps from the National park of the Tenorio volcano. The owner, Alexander Ordóñez, works with the family: his wife welcomes you at the information point and her parents are on the soda. A convenient place when you leave the park. Alexander is also an excellent park guide, and he speaks French as a bonus. If he is not in the country (his services are very requested), so you can leave directly from the lodge in the morning for a guided tour with him (US $ 10 per person). It can also connect you with an English guide if you wish.

Huge disappointment, booking confirmation made with 3 times by the owner to ensure that we would be well welcomed: nobody on arrival, forgotten reservation! Owner not present. Have by telephone, but no commercial gesture.
Room provided with a deplorable hygiene. Insects died everywhere, room with bath/wc + that salts, not hot shower, dirty bedding (one bed for 2 beds), broken door allowing for the air, rain.
A disaster, do not go there.

very disappointed by the reception, the staff does not speak English and does not make any effort to understood in Spanish. Room very poorly maintained, bathroom BOF and Alexander there are not any more
