Charming capital of Andros with beaches and a secluded cirque.
Close to the charming capital of Andros is the organized beach of Nimborio, but also the small, secluded beaches with clean sand and crystal clear waters of Achla, Vori, Platanos and Cape Gria, all accessible by footpaths or by boat. Apart from Nimborio and Paraporti on both sides of Chora, you will also find a beautiful pebble beach with tavernas in Sténiés. A little further on, there is a beautiful secluded cove, Piso Yalia, which you can reach by steps that require courage on the way back. Bring water and a hat.
