THE IXIAN GRAND

Accueil très correct, nous avons passé de très bon moments à nous prélasser autour de la plage, des piscines et bars. Une vue magnifique et apaisante.
Nourritures et boissons variés à toutes heures, pas toujours de très grande qualité pour les bières et cocktails (goût de coupé à l’eau même pour les sodas), et les quelques aliments importés.
Pour tout ce qui est local, la qualité est relativement bonne, tout petit bémol pour le côté « cantine » largement compensé par la qualité et disponibilité des serveurs. Nous avons toujours mangé à notre faim, voire trop, et trouvé notre bonheur en tant que français gastronomiquement exigeants. Une base fixe (pizza, pâtes, poulet, poisson, crudités) présente à chaque repas, et un changement quotidien des plats proposés.
Le tzaziki est incroyable.

Salle de sport minimaliste mais très efficace.

Gros point négatif pour nous, l’insonorisation des chambres. Catastrophique pour le montant de la nuit. Jusqu’à 1h30-2h pouvions-nous entendre les autres clients (un peu ronds) communiquer ouvertement dans les couloirs qui raisonnent, et à partir de 8h au tour des agents de ménages…
Le « do not disturb » est considéré un jour sur deux seulement, pas top pour les grasses matinées, heureusement que les espaces de repos extérieurs sont tranquilles.

L’hôtel est très beau et très propres malgré l’afflux de client, il n’en n’est pas de même pour l’environnement autour. Pas vraiment de visite d’Ixia à organiser, prévoir de louer une voiture pour aller sur Lindos, seulement 13 euros pour aller à la vieille ville de Rhodes.
Petit bémol aussi pour le marketing parfois agressif des intervenants du spa qui forcent presque à la vente de leurs soins, bien plus chères qu’en France.

En conclusion, un léger sentiment d’à peine trop chère, mais nous pourrions retourner si nous retournions sur l’île.

Our experience was nothing short of the luxurious break we were looking forward to. On arrival we were accidentally given the wrong room and not the swim up suite that we had booked, thanks to the speedy and professional work of Tina at the desk this was resolved in a matter of minutes. The location of the hotel is stunning and the room only everything we dreamed of. The staff throughout provide some of the best hospitality you could ever expect from a 5 star hotel but the stand out experience for us was the team at the Alazonia restaurant. This was a fine dining experience breakfast and dinner every time we went. A special mention to Christina that seated us and Christina that waitressed us as well as the charming Nik. They truly took the holiday to the next level of class and luxury for us. This was the best holiday we had ever been on but I think our experience was made essential by having the premium suite room which entitled us to unlimited visits to the excellent restaurant as well as the the swim up pool which we used everyday. All in all I just can’t fault the experience and would recommend to all.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Drinks service at meals could be quicker.

We had an amazing experience here at this hotel. The place is absolutely stunning! The staff are polite and friendly and helped us with all our needs. People saying the food is bland clearly have not tried anything out of their boundaries as the food here was above expectations - plenty of choice and flavours. Al a carte restaurant is also worth a try if you have the opportunity to go. Furthermore, our room had an amazing view of the mountains and even in April, the weather here is hot - So make sure to bring your sunscreen! Really sad to leave this beautiful island , but hopefully we’ll be back again in the future and will definitely choose this hotel for our next stay! Ef haristo! ???????? ❤️
