The beaches near Liménas are quite busy but finally pleasant for those who are looking for beaches with beach bars, deckchairs and umbrellas. Among the most famous, there is first of all the small beach of Karnagio, next to the old port. Outside the city, the beach of Makryammos, 2.5 km to the south-east, is a little more family friendly than the one of La Scala, 4 km to the north-west, which plays the luxury card. Lovers of quiet and wild beaches will avoid the place and will push towards the beach of Glyfoneri, 9 km from Limenas.
