Ancient agora preserving ancient monuments of which the one dedicated to Theagenes.
The ancient agora draws a large quadrilateral with wild grass. Ancient ruins are scattered in this bucolic and serene landscape. On the left you can admire a portico from the Roman period (of which some columns and bas-reliefs remain and are exhibited in the Louvre) and on the south side the remains of a gigantic altar. You will also find a monument dedicated to Theagenes, a Thassian champion of pancrastics and boxing, who honored his country by winning two Olympic victories.
