This building is a former marine forge built in 1878 which was used in particular for the manufacture of tools used in the fishing industry. The building is now classified as a historical monument. In 2018, the Forges de Montréal came here to rekindle the flame around metal work. That said, the place is currently undergoing work to secure the premises and should eventually open to the public. The whole thing will be done in the form of a tourist and cultural tour under the aegis of L'Arche Musée et Archives. To be watched, therefore.
