JASPER DARK SKY FESTIVAL
Take to the stars for an absolutely magical night in one of Western Canada's largest national parks.
Since 2013, this festival has been celebrating the starry nights of the park, described as the 2nd largest Dark Sky Preserve in the world, behind Wood Buffalo National Park, also in Alberta. Astronomers and professionals from around the world are invited to this event each year and many activities combining music, science and experimentation are offered. On the program, discovery workshops led by the planetarium, observation evenings with high-performance means and equipment, hikes and cable car rides at night...
