TOWER OF BONVOULOIR
Go there and contact
The 26-metre-high tower served as a landmark for soldiers during the Middle Ages and is a place steeped in legend.
Close to the Andaines forest, the Tour du Bonvouloir (Bonvouloir Tower), over 26 metres high, has stood since the 15th century. Legend has it that it was erected by the knight Guyon Essirard as a tribute to his regained vigor with his lady. The originality of the site, with its well, chapel and dovecote, led to its inclusion in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1995. The Tower is surrounded by a botanical garden open to the public. An interpretation trail, on the border between the imaginary and the real, criss-crosses the site.
