NOTRE DAME CHURCH
A listed church and one of the most important buildings in the Orne region.
Built between the 11th century (walls), the 16th-17th centuries (choir, nave, transepts) and the 19th-20th centuries (stained glass windows), the church is striking for the juxtaposition of architectural elements that give it an intimate character. Outside, the walls of an unfinished nave give it a monastic air, while the entrance and its wooden porch plunge you back into the Middle Ages. Inside, the variety continues: statuary, carved keys, classical paintings, a magnificent stained-glass window with floral motif, modern stained-glass windows and a 16th-century altar depicting the apostles.
