The Agulhas lighthouse is the second oldest in South Africa.

Like a gigantic red and white chimney, it stands proudly above the roof of a house. Built in 1849, it rises 27 meters above the ground and reaches 30 miles. It is the second oldest lighthouse in South Africa. The building houses a small lighthouse museum and offers a panoramic view of the coast for the price of a 71-step climb.
