SINGLE PICK
The 430-meter-high summit overlooks the bay, offering panoramic views of the Djurdjura and the two Kabylies.
If there's a must-see in Bejaïa, this is it! A small, winding road climbs to the west of the town to a 430-metre-high peak overlooking the bay, before continuing on to Fort Gouraya and its place of worship revered by the local women (Yemma Gouraya), a fort built by the Vandals and then transformed by the Spanish and Ottomans at an altitude of 660 metres. A pleasant half-day walk with panoramic views of the Djurdjura and the two Kabylie regions. You'll also come across the magot monkey, but don't feed the animals!
