Nestling on the western edge of the forest, this small, rudimentary camp belonging to the non-governmental organization MAFICO is the ideal starting point for a guided hike in the forest or to enjoy the local attraction: the zip line. The site, separated from the national road by 6 km of sugar cane plantations, can be reached from the town of Lugazi by tree-climbing enthusiasts. The whole is ultra basic, as are the sanitary facilities and the camping area where the lawn shines by its absence... Possibility of lunch and dinner on order.

Fun beyond words can explain, everyone needs to zip lin some time, and the nature walk is beautiful, reaching upto the river side deep in mabira forest, had a great experience with lots of stopping points while zip lining.

First time ziplining and seeing the Mabira rainforest like this was absolutely memorable....
The rainforest is insanely beautiful, and well worth a work through even if you don't want to zipline. Just remember to take water (or buy at the kiosk) and remember your insect repellent!
