MORAN STATE PARK
The largest park in the San Juan Islands located in Orcas Island, where activities are organized, and possibility of camping on the park
The largest park in the San Juan Islands. Dominated by Mount Constitution (732 m), the park offers more than 65 km of trails for all levels. Once at the top, the 360° view of Puget Sound is absolutely incredible. The park owes its name to the wealthy Robert Moran, who owned several hectares of land on the island and offered part of it to the state for public use. Several activities are organized (fishing, kayaking, mountain biking) and you can camp in the park. The summit can also be reached by car via a road several kilometres long.
