At the entrance to the village, this charming rural hotel offers twenty-one large double rooms, decorated in the old style, but all equipped (TV, fridge, heating), with beautiful views over the surroundings. Its plus, a very beautiful swimming pool surrounded by green spaces, a restaurant of alpurarrena cuisine and a beautiful terrace to enjoy the landscape. Recommended for those who want a relaxing stay, far from everything.

Trato familiar, muy tranquilo, muy bien acondicionado y decorado con mucho gusto. Nos encantó el trato recibido tanto por Víctor padre y Víctor hijo.

Hotel con encanto, también encantado con el trato del personal del hotel. Buen sitio para caminar y admirar un paisaje singular y después descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del entorno.

We loved our stay at the Hotel de Mecina over Xmas 2022. As it was low season we were one of only 2 occupied rooms in the hotel but Victor was the perfect host, generous with his time and advice, ensuring that we had meal options available to us. The rooms are clean and spacious and ours had a lovely balcony that caught the winter sun. The hotel is full of character and provides an immersive experience in the Sierra Nevada. If you’re hikers it’s worth checking out the 10-12k loop from Fondales along the medieval trails for a good half day out (you can find it on the AllTrails app) - but be prepared for some significant up and down hills !
