Run by British couple Emma and David Illsley, Las Chimeneas is a small Spanish village in the Alpujarra turned into guest houses. It would be hard not to fall in love with the surroundings when opening your bedroom's window facing the valley. You may wish to simply rent one of the nine rooms as a Bed & Breakfast or fully experience the mountains with one of their package holidays. A One-Base Holiday will give you all the information you need to explore the walking tracks, visit the nearby magnificent city of Granada or get a cooking class at the farm. A self-trekking option will be ideal for those who wish to make the most of the landscape, hiking between olive trees up to the village of Trevelez.
Las Chimeneas also includes a restaurant serving Andalusian specialties and offering cooking workshop with local and guest chefs. Don't forget to take a stroll in their organic farm and grab an orange from the orchard.
