Classified as a Sensitive Natural Area, this Celtic and Gallo-Roman site is located in the municipality of Merri dominating the plain of Trun. Stretching over 8 ha, it is one of the fortified habitats in western France among the most important and spectacular. The site looks like nothing when you enter it, but as you proceed, you discover the impressive protohistorical ramparts. The visit is free (walking shoes are recommended). The Trun Tourist Office offers guided tours and tours in July-August (information by telephone).
