Nevadensis company offering guided tours of the peaks of the Sierra Nevada from different points
From this location, there are guided tours of the peaks of the Sierra Nevada for small groups, offered by the company Nevadensis, which manages two information points for cumulative altas, one at the Hoya de Moya and another at Capileira. Two shuttles from the national park run through the site from different points. The first part of Hoya de la Mora, above the station Pradollano and leads to Posiciones de Veleta, about 6 km away. The rest is done only on foot, and slowly. Another traffic starts from the village of Capileira to reach the Mirador de Trévelez, at a height of 2,700 metres, a bus tour of about 20 km. The rest of the way to Mulhácen is on foot. In the region, there are four refuges, including Refugio Poqueira, the other three being smaller and more basic, but free of charge: Refugio Vivac La Caldera (at the foot of the western slope of the Mulhacén), Refugio Pillavientos (a little further southwest of the previous one) and Refugio Vivac La Cariguëla (at Collado del Veleta at 3 200 m). Nevadansis also runs a hostel at La Hoya de la Mora, which is open all year round.
