S'ESTANYOL PLATJA
Beach surrounded by a pine forest, in the form of a sheltered cove with a sandy strip and typical Pityuse piers
S'Estanyol beach is a sheltered cove with a small but pleasant strip of sand, flanked by the typical Pityuse jetties. Surrounded by a forest of pine trees, its name (S'Estanyol means "little pond" in Iberian) comes from the fact that in the past the waters of the small river Sa Font accumulated near the beach, creating a wetland similar to a small lake. The remains of an old well can be seen here. The chiringuito Cala Bonita offers some well-made dishes.
